"Snyder is phenomenal here, crafting some of the most striking images and beautiful sentences that you will likely read all year." -- The Coast (Halifax, N.S.)
All this week, Carrie Snyder guest edits for the National Post's Afterword. Today she reminisces about her first real job (which just happened to be in the National Post's books section):
"The heart-stopping moments of real potential danger are a thrill ride for the reader." - Globe & Mail newspaper
"It's still early in 2012, but The Juliet Stories looks to be one of the best books of the year." -- CBC Books
An excellent review in the Montreal Gazette. "... at least as mature and powerful as several recent major award winners."
Another rave! "By the second page, I knew I was reading something remarkable." -- from Fish In Motion
We love this write-up of the launch party. "Carrie was brilliant."

The Juliet Stories

My wife Carrie Snyder has just released her 2nd novel, The Juliet Stories, and it is getting tons of buzz. To help promote her book I have created a website challenge: Help Make Carrie’s Book a Bestseller. The idea is simple: encourage 5,000 people to buy a copy of the book and make it a Canadian bestseller. (In Canada you need to sell about 5,000 books to get on the bestseller lists).
