My wife Carrie Snyder has just released her 2nd novel, The Juliet Stories, and it is getting tons of buzz. To help promote her book I have created a website challenge: Help Make Carrie’s Book a Bestseller. The idea is simple: encourage 5,000 people to buy a copy of the book and make it a Canadian bestseller. (In Canada you need to sell about 5,000 books to get on the bestseller lists).

Come celebrate the launch of The Juliet Stories, the second collection by Carrie Snyder. A stunning novel-in-stories set against the backdrop of the political turmoil in 1980s revolutionary Nicaragua by one of Canada's brightest emerging writers.

Prize announcement
The contest for the first prize pack is now open! Included in the prize pack will be a book from Carrie's publisher House of Anansi, and the winter edition of The New Quarterly, which includes a chapter from The Juliet Stories--a sneak peek. All who comment on the Help Make Carrie's Book a Bestseller website will be entered, and if you've already commented, you're already entered. The first prize pack contest closes on February 24th.

My wife Carrie Snyder is releasing her 2nd novel, The Juliet Stories, in March. To help promote her book I have created a website challenge: Help Make Carrie’s Book a Bestseller. The idea is simple: encourage 5,000 people to buy a copy of the book and make it a Canadian bestseller. (Yes, in Canada you need to sell about 5,000 books to get on the bestseller lists).
The website has the latest news about book readings, reviews, and special events. It includes a forum for you to post comments. Everyone who comments will be entered into one of several draws to win some fabulous prizes sponsored by Carrie's publisher, House of Anansi! The first prize draw will include a copy of the winter 2012 The New Quarterly, which features a chapter from The Juliet Stories.
